The National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) launched a diabetes dashboard to speed up care in public hospitals – Times Live (19 April 2026)
The platform is designed to help clinicians and programme managers spot poor control earlier and intervene more quickly.
According to the NHLS laboratory data is refreshed within 48 hours, offering what it calls a “near-real-time, nationwide view” of diabetes control. This means facility teams can see updated results far sooner than before and act earlier when readings suggest a patient is at high risk of complications.
