Face masks and travel certificates cancelled

On 22 June Health Minister Joe Phaahla announced that the wear of face masks is no longer compulsory. In a Government Gazette, Phaahla repealed regulations 16A, 16B and 16C of the regulations relating to the surveillance and the control of notifiable medical conditions in their entirety. People leaving or visiting the country will no longer need vaccination certificates.
