Fyfer INC
BACKGROUND
Fyfer Incorporated was founded on 1 August 2001 by Hugo and Annette Fyfer, who are presently the directors of the firm. Both directors are senior practitioners, admitted to the Side Bar in 1975 and 1976 respectively, and are thoroughly experienced in their specialised legal fields. The firm now consists of 4 qualified attorneys, 2 articled clerks and a number of paralegals, secretaries and other support staff. Approximately 82% of our staff is female, and 35% are black persons.
TRAINING
We believe that the firm’s employees should be experienced, well-educated and knowledgeable people, sensitive to the needs of the clients and the standards set by the directors. Over the past few years the directors’ requirement that staff undergo continuous intensive training and further education designed to meet our clients’ specific requirements have resulted in us being able to broaden our areas of expertise and to put together a team of skilled specialists
OUR VISION
We are convinced that dynamic smaller legal firms can provide high quality specialised service to their clients in selected fields of law. The prime object of our firm is to render personalised service in a cost effective way in those fields in which the directors and the employees of the firm have had specialist education coupled with practical experience and exposure. While not adverse to growth and expansion, which is a natural sequel of an expanding client base, it remains the vision of the firm that regardless of the size of the firm, the services provided by it must always:
- remain personalised,
- be of the highest ethical and professional standards, and
- be most cost effective to its clients,
to meet the varied demands of a broad spectrum of clients in a modern multi-cultural South Africa, and to provide tailor-made solutions to the problems encountered by them in their business activities.
