HEALTHMAN’s specialist managerial expertise works exclusively for the benefit of Specialist Management Companies to enable them to discharge their obligations to their shareholders.
On behalf of the Specialist Company, HEALTHMAN shall conduct negotiations with Funders, hospitals, medical supply companies etc. with a view to obtaining maximum benefits.
HEALTHMAN shall also assist in evaluating and negotiating managed care and conventional fee-for-service proposals by Funders, ensuring that pricing is both competitive and profitable. We assess individual practices and shareholders’ risk ensuring thereby that Company shareholders benefit from contractual agreements, and the pricing/contracting strategies developed thereby for use in future negotiations.
We will recommend practice cost structures, advise on the implementation of CPT4 and ICD10 coding systems, suggest administrative procedures in respect of medical services, and collate, warehouse and standardize statistical data concerning reviewed volumes and projected consumption of services to ease practitioner and shareholder decision-making.
By way of administrative services, HEALTHMAN undertakes to draft all legal documents, monthly bank reconciliation statements, management accounts and annual financial statements, as well as to complete and submit provisional and annual statutory and income tax returns. We shall issue shareholders with monthly statements and regular newsletters and manage the invoicing and receipt of management fees. We shall attend to arrangements for annual general meetings, including compilation and distribution of notices, proxies, minutes, etc.
The implementation of an appropriate e-commerce and administrative platform shall enable HEALTHMAN to fulfil our communicative, informational, billing and query resolution obligations to the management company and its shareholders.
